NEMT Driver

Job Description Local driving position. Responsible for transporting clients to and from medical/non-medical locations.An outgoing personality serves this position well. Great interpersonal relationship skills are required.With safety always in mind, drivers will interact with clients to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip.Proficient driving experience is a MUST!Drivers are required to assist clients in and out of the vehicle and to the door of the location (when needed). Drivers must ensure that clients utilizing wheelchairs or motorized scooters are properly/comfortably secured.CPR/First Aid, Defensive Driver and Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) certificates are required.Drivers will rely on GPS software.Candidates must:be 25 years of age or olderhave valid Driver's License (min. 3yrs), with NO points/infractionspass Local/Federal Background Check, CPS/APS Registry Checkpass Drug Screeningbe physically fit and capable of pushing and loading riders utilizing wheelchairs.
