Job Description We are seeking qualified veterinarians who have graduated from universities accredited by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and are interested in starting their career in the U.S. as Veterinary Technicians while they complete the necessary steps to become fully licensed veterinarians.Note: This position is as an Technician until U.S license is obtained.Main Responsibilities:Patient AssessmentConduct initial physical examinations, gather patient history, and monitor vital signsCollect blood, urine, feces, and other samples for laboratory testingPrepare animals and equipment for surgery, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients during proceduresAdminister medications, including injections and oral medications, as prescribed by the veterinarianExplain treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventative health measures to pet ownersFront desk duties such as receiving patients, answering and making phone callsMaintaining patients records Working Conditions: Usual work hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay periodTwo day off per weekWork locations: various farms in states such as Indiana, Arizona, Tennessee, Illinois, among othersExtreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer) This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to start a career in the U.S. job market.
