Surgical, Integration, Sterile Processing Equipment Installer

Job Overview We’re looking for a skilled surgical, integration, and sterile processing (SPD) equipment installer to join our team, specializing in medium- to heavy-duty installations in healthcare settings, particularly in surgical and sterile processing departments. You’ll perform mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and integration installations while ensuring compliance with healthcare facility regulations. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and test surgical, integration, and SPD equipment in healthcare facilities. Install, assemble, and test low-voltage systems (integration). Read and interpret plans to assess and contain job site spaces. Read and interpret equipment manuals. Lift and move heavy machinery, including holding weight overhead. Document work thoroughly and report to management. Troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing plans. Follow strict safety codes and regulations for medical settings. General Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Vo-Tech training preferred. Valid ID, clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check Experience in healthcare or biomedical settings is a plus. Comfortable with up to 100% travel. SPD and Surgical Equipment  Requirements: Proficient with basic tools and hands-on mechanical, plumbing, or electrical work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read plans. Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment. Knowledge of: working with iron, copper, and pvc pipe; using a pro press tool for iron, brass and copper press fittings; working with stainless steel braided hose, rubber hose and similar hoses; working with electrical tools, including voltage meter; leveling tools and concepts Integration Installation  Requirements: Read and interpret line diagrams into real world conduit tracing Pass certification testing (online and in the field) Knowledge of proper wire pulling techniques, including 14-22 AWG Copper, CatV, Fiber Optic... Knowledge of wire termination, including ferrule, wago, spade, RJ45...
