Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, clean, and prepare data to support reporting, analytics, and AI initiativesBuild and maintain datasets, queries, and analytical views using SQL and Databricks notebooksContribute to dashboards, metrics, and exploratory analysis that support business and product decisionsPartner with data engineers and platform team members to onboard new data sources and analytics use casesHelp define and document analytics best practices, including data definitions, metrics, and reusable patternsSupport data quality checks and validation to ensure analytics outputs are reliable and trustedParticipate in team workflows and SDLC practices as they are established and refinedQualificationsAssociate-level experience or education in data analytics, business analytics, analytics engineering, or a related fieldStrong foundational skills in SQL and data analysis concepts (joins, aggregations, transformations)Experience using notebooks or analytics tools such as Databricks, Jupyter, or similar platformsExposure to Azure or cloud-based analytics environmentsComfort working with incomplete or evolving requirementsAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and data qualityClear communication skills and ability to explain insights to non-technical partnersThe salary range for this role is $57,500 to $72,500 or the hourly equivalent.
