Job DescriptionSenior Project Manager - Structural SteelA growing structural steel fabricator in Columbus, OH is seeking a high-performing Senior Project Manager to lead and execute structural steel projects from award through closeout. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage the coordination between detailing, fabrication, and field erection.As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from kickoff to completion, driving schedule, cost, and execution while ensuring alignment across all phases of the project lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural steel projects from award through closeout with full P&L accountabilityDrive project schedules and ensure on-time deliveryManage submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change ordersOversee procurement, fabrication schedules, and material coordinationDirect erection sequencing, field logistics, and jobsite executionTravel to project sites as needed to support field teams and maintain performanceLead coordination meetings with general contractors, owners, and trade partnersMonitor costs, labor productivity, and overall project profitabilityEnsure alignment between detailing, fabrication, and field operationsQualifications5+ years of structural steel project management experienceProven success delivering structural steel projects of varying scaleAbility to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsWillingness and ability to travel as neededProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and standard project management toolsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsTechnical / AISC ExpectationsWorking knowledge of AISC standards and Code of Standard PracticeStrong understanding of fabrication workflows and connection coordinationAbility to interpret structural drawings and project specificationsFamiliarity with bolting, welding, and QA/QC requirementsAbility to drive coordination across detailing, shop, and field operationsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (DOE) + BonusFull benefits package including:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offIf you're an experienced structural steel Project Manager looking to take on a leadership role with a respected and growing organization, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career.Send your resume to: justin.knitt@gogpac.com
