Outside Sales Representative/Territory Manager

Outside Sales Representative PMI Lubricants, a leading distributor of lubricants, oils, fluids, greases and chemicals is currently recruiting a sales representative to target industrial, commercial and automotive lubricants sales in the Northern Virginia and Maryland markets. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new accounts while maintaining relationships with existing customers in the lubricants industry. You will be focused in the Northern Virginia / Maryland markets. You will be expected to manage a territory by providing services and solutions to customers, achieving sales volume goals and implementing new strategic objectives. Job Description: Meet sales and profit goals for your territory Implement sales processes adopted by the company Generate lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads and maximizing sales to those targets Manage customer relations: Gain complete understanding of customer’s business becoming an advocate for the customer while balancing the needs of the company Provide solutions to customer by being a valuable resource Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, billing, and collections Manage budget and expense account within company guidelines Requirements: Strong problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service skills Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Professional sales appearance, presentation, and behaviors Self-motivation with the ability to work from home or need for daily direction Computer skills including Excel and Word Ability to travel locally on a daily basis High School diploma Incentives Competitive base salary with commission plan Car allowance and mileage reimbursement Comprehensive benefit package, including medical/dental/vision, 401k plan; and life insurance Paid holiday and vacation Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
