The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to students with a variety of needs, ensuring alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and best practices in school-based therapy.Essential ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with state and federal regulationsDevelop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school participationProvide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in a variety of educational settings (general education, resource, and specialized programs)Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student successAdapt classroom materials and environments to improve student access and independenceMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress reports and Medicaid billing (if applicable)Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussionsSupport staff with strategies for student regulation, motor development, and functional skill-buildingEnsure compliance with district procedures and timelinesQualificationsMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferredStrong collaboration, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and educational service delivery models
