Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (1+ YRS EXP)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages, including children and adults. This is a unique position that will be a mix between contracted work within a school setting/daycare facility and hours in the clinic Monday-Friday. MUST BE WILLING TO POTENTIALLY PROVIDE CONTRACTED SERVICES TO A SCHOOL. *CFYs may apply
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Provide speech therapy sessions to patients in various settings, including schools and clinical environments.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on techniques to support communication development at home.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Skills
Experience in pediatric care, early intervention strategies, and adult experience is ideal.
Ability to implement effective speech therapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
Excellent patient assessment skills to identify specific communication challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with school-based services and the ability to work within educational frameworks.
