Material Handler- Evening shift

Job Description Position OverviewThe Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inbound and outbound material flow within the facility. This includes receiving, processing, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring timely delivery to internal departments.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and process incoming shipments and outgoing deliveriesAccurately receive, verify, and store materials in designated warehouse locationsPrepare and process shipments, including packaging, labeling, and loading trucksOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order selectorsMaintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and system updatesPerform daily and monthly inventory counts, including zone countingInvestigate discrepancies and initiate inventory adjustments as neededProcess Material Destruction Orders (MDO) and dispose of non-conforming inventorySupport rework and quality teams by locating and moving materials as requiredEnsure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and GMP standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of warehouse or related experienceExperience with inventory systems (Oracle preferred)Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (or willingness to be certified)Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication skills (verbal and written)Preferred SkillsKnowledge of shipping/receiving processes, including international shipmentsExperience with inventory control and warehouse management systemsAbility to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and system errorsWork EnvironmentFast-paced warehouse settingRequires standing, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shiftMust follow all safety and compliance regulations
