Position: Sr. Process EngineerLocation: Various locations in the Midwest and VirginiaTravel: Up to 75%Pay Rate: 110K-165K (negotiable based on experience) Musts (qualifications):7-10+ years of hands-on industrial process engineering experienceB.S. in Engineering required, Chemical Engineering preferredExperience with heat & material balances, process optimization, and troubleshootingProcess design, commissioning, start-up, and plant support experienceStrong data analysis skills using plant operating dataExperience leading cross-functional engineering and operations teamsWillingness to travel extensively (up to 75%)Plusses: Chemical Engineering degreeProcess modeling software experienceTechnology development, R&D, or pilot testing experienceLarge-scale environmental controls experience (FGD systems, emissions controls) Laboratory experience and statistical analysisFoundry coke, steel, chemical, manufacturing, or energy industry experienceHeavy industrial manufacturing/process plant experienceStrong process optimization and troubleshooting backgroundExperience supporting new technology development and capital projectsDay to Day: Develop and test new technologies and process improvementsAnalyze plant data to improve efficiency and troubleshoot operational issuesLead field trials, proof-of-concept testing, and technology implementationSupport capital projects from concept through startup and commissioningWork with operations, engineering, vendors, and customers on process improvementsPrepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
