Intermodal Transportation ManagerEagle Systems Inc is an industry leading intermodal transportation provider with terminals nationwide. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to come in on the ground floor of our new operation in Baltimore, MD. This individual would be chiefly responsible for managing, building, maintaining and growing the operation.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild and grow independent contractor fleet along with customer base
Ensure terminal meets customer expectations and communicates in professional and timely manner both written and verbal
Run the day to day operations, which includes daily dispatch, safety and compliance and accurate and timely billing
Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations per customer requests or needs
Work with Safety Director and Regional Manager in improving company CSA Scores
Work with Safety and IT to ensure fleet is 100% compliant with ELD's and all functionality of Mobile Dispatch App
Perform walk around tractor inspections; ensure all equipment is compliant with FMCSA regulations
Responsible for increasing revenue and controlling costs
Qualifications and RequirementsKnowledge of rail intermodal container experience
Must prioritize safety in all aspects of operations
Must possess strong organizational skills.
Must be able to multi-task effectively
Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills
Strong leadership skills a must
Previous management experience in a similar environment required
Previous experience with profit & loss reporting preferred
Looking for hard working and energetic team player.
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000/year depending upon experience
Schedule: Office based position Monday-Friday
