Serving life, health, property and casualty, captive, and mutual insurers, Forvis Mazars delivers strategic insights and innovative solutions to manage regulatory shifts, technological disruption, and market volatility-empowering clients to stay resilient and competitive.What You Will Do:* Provide strategic oversight and leadership in delivering tax advisory and compliance services for corporations across the insurance indsutry, ensuring regulatory alignment and client valueOversee complex tax research and insights, translating technical findings into actionable strategies for clients and firm leadership Ensure quality and compliance through high-level review of tax filings and risk management protocolsStrengthen client relationships by delivering proactive, high-impact tax solutions and positioning the firm as a trusted advisorDrive a culture of client service excellence, fostering long-term partnerships and consistent engagementDevelop and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career developmentManage project execution and resource allocation, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service deliverySupport firm growth through strategic planning, client retention, and targeted business development initiativesExpand market presence by representing the firm at industry events and cultivating new opportunitiesMaintain technical leadership through ongoing education, regulatory awareness, and internal knowledge sharingPromote thought leadership by authoring publications and leading firm-wide training initiativesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field11+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accountingCurrent and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licenseProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFlexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.
