Quality Engineer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products and processes meet or exceed established quality standards. They are responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues. Quality Engineers are essential in maintaining and improving the overall quality of products within an organization. Please note: Do not sponsor H-1B visas Candidates must have experience in the electronics industry or server manufacturing; applications without this background will not be considered. Responsibilities Compliance with ISO Standards: Ensure that processes and products comply with relevant ISO standards. Quality Planning: Contribute to the development of quality plans and procedures. Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal and supplier audits to assess compliance. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives. Documentation Control: Oversee the control and management of quality-related documents. Training: Provide training on quality procedures and standards. Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their quality requirements. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field. Basic training: preferred RBA, Work ethics, FDA, C-TPAT, Management system (QMS) quality, health and environmental security. HSPM, ISO9001, SA800, ROHS, IECQ8000, ISO45001. ESD training, psychosocial risk prevention policy, NOM-035, Cybersecurity, DFARS, ISO27001, 5’S methodology, consciousness raising. Statistical Process Control (SPC) Training: Learning statistical tools and techniques for monitoring and controlling processes. Root Cause Analysis Training preferred: Training in methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Quality Inspection and Testing Methods: Familiarity with various inspection and testing methods, including non-destructive testing, metrology, and material testing. Quality Tools Training preferred: Training in the use of quality tools such as Control Charts, Pareto Analysis, and Statistical Analysis Software. Six Sigma Training preferred: Courses in Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement. Certifications preferred: Obtaining certifications like Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt can enhance qualifications. Experience in quality engineering or a related field.
