This individual will report to the Manager of Real Estate Accounting and willbe responsible forservicing real estate clients and managingmulti entityportfolios of properties, both commercial and/or residential.What it Means to Work forEisnerAmper:You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industryYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balanceYou will join a culture that has received multiple top "Places to Work" awardsWe believe thatgreat workisaccomplishedwhen cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutionsWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundationShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best workWhat Work You WillbeResponsible For:Makeappropriate journalentries to record mortgage, payroll, utilities, management fees, property insurance and property taxes and other cash transactionsProcess vendor invoicesSubmit wires, ACHs, and internal bank transfers Prepare monthly billing statementsPerform bank reconciliations (operating, security deposit, escrow accounts)Perform reconciliations of the balance sheet accountsPerform in-depth review of the income statementPerform monthly financial review, accrual accounting and GL reclassesPerform actual-to-budget variance analysisPrepare monthly financial statement package for ownership to include balance sheet, profit & loss statement, statement of cash flows (if applicable)Prepare quarterly financial reporting to fulfill lender compliance requirementsMaintain related schedules (property insurance and taxes, compliance, etc.)Act asliaisonto external auditors by explaining journal entries and financial transactions,provideresearch data and information as requested, andanswerquestions necessary to complete the auditin a timely manner.Maintainjob costing schedules and prepare construction draw packagesMaintain task management and workpapersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field1+ years' experience in property accounting managing multiple properties entities - commercial, residential, and new constructionKnowledge of Sage Intacct, and/or YardiPreferred/Desired Qualifications:Experience working with task management and workpaper system (Blackline,Floqast)Experience working withAppfolioand/or Avid ExchangeEisnerAmperis proud to be a merit-based employer.We do not discriminateon the basis ofveteran or disability status orany protected characteristics under federal, state, or local law.About our Outsourced Services Team:TheEisnerAmperOutsourcing group brings our team's specialized knowledge of accounting directly into the offices of a wide range of clients.
