CAD Drafter

The CAD Drafter will assist in the preparation of design documents and drawings during the execution of a variety of projects involving mechanical, electrical and civil/structual components for natural gas, hydrocarbon and industrial projects. Primary responsibilities include producing two-dimensional and three-dimensional construction drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schematics and bills of material, from models, red lines and sketches under the direction of an engineer or designer. This position is located at our office in Derwent, Ohio.Complete redline drawings accurately and timelyFollow company or customer CAD standardsScanning, copying and plotting drawingsPreparing as-built drawings based on field red-line markupsDrafting moderate P&IDs, PFDs, Isometrics, schematics, one-line diagrams, etc.Drafting moderate orthographics, annotate drawings, details, section cuts, etc.Drafting standard drawings, coversheets, notes and legend, etc.Assuring that work is completed accurately and within project deadlinesCompletes peer reviews of drawingsRequires an Associate degree or higher in Drafting & Design, Engineering Technology or related fieldGood understanding of AutoCAD, Acrobat or Bluebeam, Word and ExcelAbility to work within a multi-disciplinary team with direct oversight from a senior team member.
