Lead Electrical Design Technician

Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineering TechnicianLocation: Overland Park, Ann Arbor, Houston, Phoenix, Raleigh, Chattanooga, Chicago, Jacksonville or Gaithersburg.Contract Length: 6-month contractSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/weekMust haves:Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology required.Power generation design industry experience.Preferred Qualifications:AGI experience is not required but preferred. Candidate will be using Bentley Microstation primarilyBachelor Degree in an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.Lead Electrical Engineering Technician Qualifications:Associate Degree in Drafting or an engineering design–related technology (required)Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering design–related technology (preferred)Minimum 15 years of relevant work experienceProven experience with 3D modeling of electrical equipment and systemsHands on experience in duct bank design, cable tray design, grounding, and electrical layoutStrong proficiency with Bentley MicroStation and Bentley design toolsExperience supporting Advanced Power Generation (APG) or similar complex infrastructure projectsAbility to function as a lead technician or technical design specialistExperience coordinating and reviewing multidisciplinary design deliverablesWorking knowledge of project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance proceduresAGI32 lighting design experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to work onsite at one approved location (location must be specified)
