Job Posting: Project ManagerPosition Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing utility construction projects in accordance with company objectives. This role oversees all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager coordinates field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Travel & Location Requirements This position requires frequent travel to job sites The travel schedule follows a rotation of 3 weeks out in the field and 1 week at home. Projects are located across Texas (TX), North Carolina (NC), South Carolina (SC), and Louisiana (LA). Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of utility construction projects Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements Coordinate with field supervisors, superintendents, and crews to ensure efficient execution Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts Manage subcontractors and vendor relationships, including procurement and performance Track project costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholders Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership Ensure quality control standards are met throughout project execution Support permitting and regulatory compliance requirements Complete and review timesheets daily to include accurate reports of all labor and equipment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred 5+ years of experience in utility construction or infrastructure projects Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost controls Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Working Conditions A combination of office and field environments May require extended hours, weekends, or on-call availability depending on project demands Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Company truck Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
