Behavior Technician

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA) while supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and those with neurodevelopmental disorders. *Duties* * Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and meal routines, promoting independence and self-care skills * Collect detailed behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans * Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client’s individualized care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness * Provide direct behavioral therapy to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities in home-based or clinical settings * Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social skills, and behavior management through engaging activities * Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations * Communicate regularly with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to update on progress and address any concerns *Requirements* * Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or special education environments * Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards * Experience in behavior management techniques and implementing behavior intervention plans effectively * Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and analyzing behavioral trends to support client progress * Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients’ daily routines with patience and professionalism * Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with neurodiverse populations is highly desirable * Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Join us to empower individuals through compassionate care, innovative therapies, and dedicated teamwork.
