Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.Administer medications and provide skilled nursing care.Manage cases and provide hospice care to patients with serious illnesses.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care. Required Skills & Certifications:Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for fieldwork. Preferred Skills & Certifications:Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.Advanced certifications relevant to nursing specialties. Special Considerations:Work environment may include hospice, ICU, ER, or other specialized clinical settings.Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.May require occasional on-call or shift flexibility depending on unit needs. Scheduling:Shift type and schedule vary based on clinical area and patient care needs.Typically includes day, evening, and night shifts with potential weekend coverage.Shift assignments determined by department leadership and patient census.
