Sr. Web Application Developer

Overview In this role you lead the architecture and delivery of modern web apps while guiding clients through technical strategy. You bring a strong full-stack background and actively integrate AI/ML features into production systems. You’ll mentor engineering teams, enforce best practices, and shape solutions that are secure, scalable, and high-performing. This position combines technical leadership with client-facing advisory work to drive innovative outcomes. ResponsibilitiesLead architecture, design, and development across .NET/C#, Node.js, and front-end frameworks.Design cloud-native, scalable solutions using microservices and serverless patterns.Establish engineering standards, code quality, and architectural practices across teams.Build AI-enabled features with LLMs and AI APIs (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) and data-driven capabilities.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities for UX, decision-making, or automation.Ensure responsible AI use including data privacy, governance, and model evaluation.Act as primary technical interface to clients, leading solutioning, architecture discussions, and briefings.Develop secure, high-performance web apps and RESTful APIs; ensure interoperability across systems.Lead CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure; optimize for cost and reliability.Mentor engineers, conduct code and architecture reviews, drive engineering excellence.Ensure security, performance monitoring, testing, and resilience improvements.Partner with UI/UX teams to deliver accessible, responsive web applications.Stay current with web and AI tech; introduce new tools and capabilities to improve delivery. Key requirements8+ years of full-stack web development experience including .NET/C# and modern JavaScript frameworks.Experience across multiple web technologies beyond .NET (e.g., Node.js, Python).Strong T-SQL experience with query/write optimization and database objects.Proven track record delivering reliable, secure, and well-tested solutions.Hands-on AI/ML capability development or integration (AI APIs such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure, including serverless architectures.Deep understanding of web architecture, microservices, and RESTful API design.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Ability to lead teams and engage directly with clients; strong communication skills.Knowledge of secure application development and cloud security practices.Must be able to obtain a Public Trust (US Citizenship required).Certifications in AWS, Azure, or AI/ML are a plus.client-facing communicationleadership and mentoringcross-functional collaborationNET/C#Node.jsReact
