Position SummaryOur Deloitte Human Capital team helps organizations create value through people performance. Join our team to make work better for humans and humans better at work.Work You'll DoAs a Senior Consultant on the team, you will be responsible for:Leading job and workforce analyses (e.g., mission-to-workforce mapping, demand/supply, skills/competency gaps) to inform workforce shaping and modernization decisionsApplying federal OPM regulations and classification standards to develop/validate position descriptions, titles/series/grades, and support position classification adjudication packagesDesigning and implementing promotion criteria and career progression frameworks, ensuring transparency, consistency, and compliance with federal requirements and client policyAssessing and improving performance management processes, including performance elements/standards, evaluation guidance, and manager/employee enablement materialsProviding end-to-end advisory support across the workforce lifecycle (workforce planning, classification, recruiting/selection inputs, development, performance, and retention) in a high-tempo government environmentCo-locating with client stakeholders to facilitate working sessions, translating requirements into practical solutions, and delivering clear written and verbal products for leadership decision-makingDriving innovation and change adoption by rapidly learning client context, proposing evidence-based improvements (I/O psychology-informed where applicable), and piloting scalable workforce solutionsA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe TeamDeloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact.
