Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for General Managers in our growing market. General Manager Job Description We are looking for a General Manager to provide a fun, fast‑paced work environment and lead a strong team of friendly crew members to create a happy and pleasant experience for customers by crafting the perfect sub with a smile. If you are enthusiastic, outgoing, detail oriented, this role is for you. Basic Requirements Self‑motivated, service‑oriented, and friendly Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Work well with a team of crew members Capability to learn skills quickly Possess cleanliness and organizational skills Food service experience is a plus (although not required) Has the ability to lead Thrive in the Jersey Mike’s process Key Responsibilities Respond positively and quickly to customer concerns and correct problems before they affect the brand. Supervise and direct employees customarily and regularly during work hours. Work independently and use own discretion and judgment in executing duties and responsibilities. Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to motivate and improve all employees. Analyze business performance, monitor controllable costs, and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. Ensure business and personnel practices are conducted according to state and federal laws and consistent with Jersey Mike’s policies and procedures. Uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure health and safety of customers and employees.
