Overview
In this role you will develop and maintain flight test instrumentation for premier aircraft, working with cross-functional teams to meet test program goals. You will oversee design, integration, and operation of airborne data acquisition systems and related hardware, ensuring data is reliably collected and usable. You’ll support preflight, post-flight, and control room activities and coordinate with various stakeholders. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics with opportunities to lead and shape test environments. You’ll contribute to mission success through rigorous tech execution and system reliability.

ResponsibilitiesLead or independently execute project and technical requirements for flight test instrumentation programsSpecify, select, design, integrate, operate and maintain airborne data acquisition systems and related hardwareOversee installation, checkout, and calibration of data systems to ensure accurate data display, processing and analysisMaintain configuration control and mission capability of instrumentation systems and ground support equipmentSupport preflight, post-flight, and control room activities for scheduled missionsInterface with test ops, maintenance, management, and customers to coordinate instrumentation requirements
