This position is responsible for managing account balances, insurance follow-up, claims processing, payment collections, and maintaining accurate billing records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and knowledge of billing procedures.Responsibilities:Submit and process insurance claims accurately and timelyFollow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companiesReview accounts for outstanding balances and collect paymentsContact customers/insurance regarding past due balances and establish payment arrangements when necessaryPost payments accuratelyMaintain detailed documentation of collection activities and account statusResolve billing discrepancies and account issuesWork closely with providers, management, and administrative staff to resolve billing concernsPrepare reports related to collections, aging accounts, and payment trendsAssist with billing questions and provide excellent customer serviceJob Requirements:Medical billing experience preferredExperience in collections preferredAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and customer service skillsQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of billing and collections experience preferredExperience with insurance verification, claim submissions, and denial managementStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and OutlookBenefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) with Company Matching
