This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on sitePerform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfersProvide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirementsCollaborate in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems.Act as Emergency Response Team member/guideCommission and start up specialty gas/chemical delivery equipmentIdeally, you have successfully completed TGCM Tech 7 local OJT and qualification requirementsAuthorize and oversee safety protocols for hazardous workFoster the primary partnership with the customer during shiftsRestart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipmentParticipate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive MaintenanceMentor and support the growth of TGCM contractors and TGCM Tech 5 & 6 employeesDevelop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions in alignment with the teamComply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.Complete assigned tasks with excellence per existing proceduresPerforms minor analytical procedures and/or sampling proceduresDedicated to the safety and well-being of all persons, and the general public surrounding facilitiesHazardous Waste Technician (at applicable operations locations):Support the safe transfer of materials to the storage area by following established documentation and safety procedures.Contribute to emergency preparedness and safe material handling by following our shared safety protocols for spills and container preparation.Partner with the team on waste minimization initiatives and maintain a helpful understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws.Are You a Match?Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent OR 5+ years of experience4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong communication skillsAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsEvidence of previous work in a successful team environmentKnowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements.Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a projectElectro-mechanical aptitudeDisplay aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actionsAble to understand and abide by stringent safety rulesDemonstrate ability to train junior techniciansPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 60 lbsAbility to stand/walk up to 10 hours per dayAbility to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)Job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)Ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasksPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field, military technical/electronic rating or nuclear field, or equivalent industry.Our Differences Make Our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
