As a barista, you will play a key role in shaping the guest experience, from carefully whisking matcha to greeting customers with genuine hospitality. What You’ll Do Handcraft matcha and specialty beverages with precision and care Prep ingredients and toppings so everything is ready to go Keep the register accurate and the guest experience seamless Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism Support teammates, communicate clearly, and step in wherever needed Keep the café tidy and organized, including opening and closing tasks Follow food safety standards and café guidelines Adapt and learn as we introduce new recipes, tools, and processes What We’re Looking For No prior barista experience required, passion and willingness to learn matter most A genuine love for matcha, tea, and creating memorable drinks Strong teamwork and communication skills A positive attitude under pressure and in busy rushes Current Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain before starting) Schedule Part-time: 3-4 days per week, must include at least one weekend day 4 to 8 hour shifts Holiday availability preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
