Sr Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires deep expertise across enterprise networking technologies and the ability to manage complex network environments while supporting modernization and transformation initiatives.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and manage Cisco DNA Center templates to support network automation and standardized deploymentsDesign and implement network segmentation strategies to improve security and performanceLead network hardware modernization initiatives to ensure infrastructure alignment with current technologiesPlan and execute routing and switching refresh initiativesDeploy and support Software Defined Wide Area Network solutions using Cisco and VeloCloud technologiesConfigure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to protect network infrastructureAdminister Infoblox solutions for DNS, DHCP, and IP address managementTroubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysisCollaborate with cross functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders Qualifications:Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP or CCNA or equivalent experienceStrong expertise with Cisco networking technologies including routes, switching, SD WAN, and network securityHands on experience with Cisco DNA Center for automation and template managementProficiency configuring and supporting Palo Alto firewallsExperience using Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP address managementProven experience designing and implementing network segmentation strategiesDemonstrated success modernizing network hardware and infrastructureExperience planning and executing routes and switch refresh projectsIn depth knowledge of SD WAN solutions including Cisco and VeloCloudStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSupporting geographically disperse areas working with telecom and local operations Preferred Qualifications:Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages such as PythonKnowledge of network security best practices and implementation methodologiesExperience with network monitoring and management toolsTools and Technologies:Cisco DNA CenterCisco routing and switching platformsCisco SD WANVeloCloud SD WANPalo Alto firewallsInfoblox DNS DHCP and IP address management
