Lead Control Process Operator - Weekend Shift

Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Lead Control Process Operator in our Fort Worth, TX plant for our Weekend Shift. The Lead supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in fabrication and assembly of structural sheet metal products. The Lead sets up and operates machines, makes adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements and may use blueprints.Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today’s transmission industry standards and specifications.Schedule: Must be able to work Fri- Sun 4:00am - 4:30pm. What You’ll DoLead and support a team of OperatorsSet up and operate CNC machinery (cutting, forming, drilling, milling, etc.)Monitor production quality and verify dimensional requirements using blueprintsTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic machine adjustmentsMake decisions related to tolerances, quality, and workflow sequencingEnsure adherence to all safety rules and proceduresParticipate in or support safety initiatives and committeesPerform additional duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need Minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing experienceProven ability to lead and develop a small teamStrong blueprint reading and measurement verification skillsExperience operating CNC/PLC equipment, including:Whitney plasma/punchKineticOxy-fuel and plasma cuttingCNC machining centers (drills, presses, mills)Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for extended periodsReliable attendance and strong work ethicTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeHigh dependabilityStrong leadership presence on the floorCommitment to safety and qualityAbility to work collaboratively toward production goals
