Accountant

Spotlight is currently hiring several Accountants with experience in SAP to support financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and leveraging SAP systems to streamline accounting processes and ensure data integrity.This role will be a hybrid on-site (2 days/week) position in Dallas, TX. These are 12-month contract opportunities. Candidates must be U.S. citizens.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standardsPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesReconcile balance sheet and income statement accountsAssist with financial statement preparation and internal reportingManage accounts payable/receivable functions as neededSupport audit processes (internal and external) by providing documentation and explanationsAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvementEnsure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and IT teams to improve workflowsQualifications1–7 years of accounting experience (varies by level)Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systemsStrong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)Experience with financial reporting and reconciliationsPreferred QualificationsCPA or progress toward certificationExperience in month-end close and financial auditsFamiliarity with SAP S/4HANAExperience in a corporate or multi-entity environment
