DRIVERLincoln Community Health Center, Inc. (LCHC), a federally qualified community health center (FQHC) located in Durham, NC is recruiting a Driver. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in Durham which is known as the Bull City, the City of Medicine, the Tastiest Town in the South, and the Startup Capital of the South. It's a two-hour drive from the beach, a three-hour drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is North Carolina's fourth largest city by population.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe primary responsibility of the Driver is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to Lincoln's patients to medical appointments at Lincoln, Satellite Clinics, Specialty Referral Clinics and Diagnostic facilities. The Driver will also transport and deliver materials, mail and other supplies.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe position requires a thorough knowledge of Durham county and ability to use GPS and MapQuest to locate patient addresses. CPR and First Aid knowledge. Ability to drive a passenger wheel chair accessible van.EDUCATIONGraduation from high school or equivalent strongly preferred.Special Requirements: Valid NC Driver's License in good standing, CPR - HeartSaver CertificationLincoln Community Health Center, Inc.
