Full Stack Engineer — Security Data Infrastructure (Series A, SF)Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed team building one of the most technically ambitious platforms in the security data space. They've developed the world's fastest full-text search and detection engine for security data lakes — enabling teams to search years and petabytes of log data in seconds, at a fraction of the cost of traditional SIEMs, while keeping full custody of their data in their own cloud storage.The founding team are proven co-founders on their second act. They are currently raising a Series A, and this is a rare opportunity to join a small, high-ownership team at an inflection point.The role:They are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can own features end-to-end — from a performant, well-crafted frontend through to backend systems built for scale. This is not a role for someone who wants to work in a narrow lane. You will talk to users, shape product direction, and have direct influence over what gets built and how.What they are looking for:- Familiarity with one or more systems languages: Rust, C++, Go, or similar- Strong TypeScript and frontend fundamentals; Svelte experience a plus- High-level comfort with distributed systems, data pipelines, or database-adjacent problems- A track record of working in fast-moving, low-process environments: startup experience is a real signal here- 5+ years of professional software development experienceThe tech stack:- Frontend: Svelte + TypeScript- Backend: Rust throughout, focused on performance and safety- Query execution: distributed, burstable serverless compute via AWS Lambda- Storage: S3 for logs at scale, MySQL for metadata- Ingestion: ECS-based log pipelines- Infrastructure: PulumiWhy this role stands out:They have built something that genuinely works at petabyte scale and they are scaling the team that will take it further.
