Civil Project Engineer

Job Description We're HiringOverviewAn established engineering group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure and land development projects. This role focuses on coordinating project activities, supporting design efforts, and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Projects commonly include municipal water and wastewater systems, roadway improvements, stormwater design, dams, and site development.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with clients to understand project objectives and define achievable outcomesAssist in preparing site layouts, engineering calculations, and technical documentationOversee project progress to ensure schedule and budget targets are metSupport proposal development including scope and fee structureEvaluate design options and recommend cost-effective solutionsPrepare reports, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for civil projectsRepresent projects in meetings, including coordination with boards, agencies, and stakeholdersCollaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors throughout project lifecycleContribute to business development and client relationship effortsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer license preferred or EIT with 5+ years of experienceBackground in site development across residential, commercial, or industrial projectsKnowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater systems, roadway design, and utilitiesExperience preparing construction documents and permitting packagesFamiliarity with zoning and land use regulationsExperience with retaining walls is a plusProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D requiredWhat's in it for youSigning bonus availableCompetitive base salary with long-term growth potentialEmployee ownership opportunityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage or monthly stipend alternative401(k) plan with company match and Roth optionPTO + Holidays
