Attorney

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be organized, have prior experience (as a law clerk or an attorney) in a litigation firm, have excellent communication skills, and a good work ethic. Duties: - Litigate on behalf of clients in civil cases - Conduct legal research - Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs - Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients - Provide legal advice and counsel to clients - Represent clients in court proceedings - Manage and oversee legal administrative tasks Requirements: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the Kentucky Bar. - Experience in legal research, writing - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $57,500.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off License/Certification: license to practice law in Kentucky (Required) Ability to Commute: Louisville, KY 40223 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Louisville, KY 40223: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
