We are seeking a Managed Care Coordinator to join our client's team in Glendale, CA. Our client is a leading Managed Care organization (IPA) dedicated to expanding quality healthcare access. This is a non-sales, professional outreach role perfect for someone who is organized, enjoys talking to people, and wants to build a long-term career in healthcare administration.In this role, you will act as a Liaison between the network and local physician offices, helping to coordinate and grow the partnership database.Key Responsibilities:Provider Outreach: Contact local physician offices to introduce the IPA network and gather updated information from office managers or receptionists.Relationship Management: Act as a helpful resource for offices, answering basic questions about the network and routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate department.Administrative Cross-Training: Gain experience in a variety of areas! You will provide backup support to different internal departments, assisting with office operations and special projects.Database Maintenance: Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook to keep track of provider status, update contact information, and ensure the network directory is accurate.Ideal Candidate Profile:Communication Skills: You are a natural "people person" who is comfortable and professional on the phone.Eager to Learn: You don't need years of experience, but you should be interested in learning how insurance networks and physician groups work together.LA Savvy: Familiarity with Los Angeles neighborhoods is a plus for understanding where our providers are located.Reliable: You take pride in being punctual, organized, and thorough with your documentation.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's is a plus).Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in a professional setting (Office Assistant, Medical Front Desk, Customer Service, or Reception).Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Location: Ability to work fully on-site in Glendale, CA 91202.Why Apply?Career Development: This is a "Career Ladder" role.
