This role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and timely movement of materials across international supply chains, while driving efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute global logistics strategyManage Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Oversee air freight, ocean freight, and multimodal logistics operationsEnsure compliance with international trade regulationsManage supplier and logistics service providers (3PL/4PL)Drive cost optimization and lean freight strategiesMonitor and improve supply chain performance through KPIsManage Incoterms and contractual logistics agreementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, manufacturing, quality)Oversee documentation, audits, and compliance processesSupport risk management and supply chain resilience initiativesTravel approximately 20–30%Must-Have RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field7+ years of logistics or transportation experience in aerospace or complex manufacturingStrong experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)Hands-on experience in international shipping (air & ocean freight)Strong understanding of global trade complianceExperience working in multinational supply chainsRequired SkillsExpertise in multimodal logistics operationsStrong knowledge of global trade compliance & regulationsExperience with TMS implementation and optimizationKnowledge of 3PL / 4PL logistics strategies and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)Experience in lean freight cost rationalizationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsAerospace industry experience (commercial aircraft preferred)Experience handling AOG (Aircraft on Ground) / time-critical logisticsKnowledge of Incoterms 2020Experience with SAP systemsExposure to global supplier networksCore CompetenciesStrategic thinking and executionSupply chain optimization and cost controlCross-functional collaborationRisk management and problem-solvingStrong communication and stakeholder managementEducationBachelor's Degree (Required)Additional NotesRole supports commercial aviation programs only (no defense work)Requires access to U.S. export-controlled informationStrong focus on compliance, efficiency, and global coordination
