Apply now!Production Assembler Responsibilities:Operate production line machinery and/or computersTroubleshoot production line machineryPerform equipment change-oversResponsible for quality controlMake adjustments, as necessary, to product within specificationsReject product outside of specificationsOperate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Job Safety StandardsOperate forklift (must be certified) to maintain raw material supply for production lineCommunicate with operators from other shifts and departmentsClean and maintain work areaTurn off and lock out equipment when not in useProvide on-the-job training to new employeesWork in a safe and productive mannerRequirements for Production Assembler:Basic knowledge of operating equipment and machinesBasic reading, writing and verbal communication skills required, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, comprehend and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)REQUIRED Fork Lift Certification (done onsite and requires a valid driver's license)Ability to accurately read product prints/spec sheets and measurementsManual dexterity required for operating machines and equipmentFrequent walking, standing, crouching, kneelingFrequent ability to lift 75 lbs or more of materials and productMachinery operation requires the use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots.
