This role involves designing and reviewing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems. The Electrical Engineer will prepare drawings and specifications, perform load calculations, and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting project planning and cost estimates, and providing technical guidance during installation and commissioning. The engineer will also troubleshoot electrical issues, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and a solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals.Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design, including the ability to create and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.Candidates should possess skills in Power Distribution, focusing on panel layouts, feeder sizing, and load calculations.Candidates should possess skills in Power Systems, including system analysis, protection coordination, and reliability considerations.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Experience with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE) and familiarity with electrical design software (such as AutoCAD or similar tools).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to safety, quality, and detail.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines.Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.
