Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This full-time school psychologist position offers an opportunity to support students across grades K-12 with a diverse caseload. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, with options available for both full-time and part-time schedules based in Elgin, IL.Key responsibilities include:Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students in early childhood through high school (grades K-12)Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)Providing intervention strategies and counseling to support student mental health and academic successAssisting with crisis intervention and implementing behavior management programsMonitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelinesDesired qualifications and experience:Certification as a School PsychologistExperience working with students in a range of grade levels from early childhood through high schoolKnowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategiesStrong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within multidisciplinary teamsAbility to manage a complex K-12 caseload efficientlyThis role offers a highly competitive compensation package with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.
