Valet Cashier- Parking Operations- Full Time (Swing/Overnight Shift)

About The RoleThe Valet Cashier is responsible for recording guest settlements in a computerized cashiering system.Position ResponsibilitiesReceives guest payments in lower valet departure area. Utilize the guest surname when appropriateCommunicate effectively with internal and external customersTake ownership of any guest complaint and notify a shift manager immediatelyPerforms all other related and compatible duties as assignedEssential FunctionsMust be able to sit or stand at workstation for extended periods of timeMust have the manual dexterity to allow for inputting of data into computer software and be capable viewing computer monitors for extended periods of timeMust be able to work in a confined environment with other team members in a team environmentMust be able to travel to a cashiering location that is distant from the main buildingMust be able lift/push/pull up to 15lbs. Must have the manual dexterity to allow for sorting, compiling and reconciling of paper documents, coin and currency for balancing end of day bankExposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environmentMust be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hoursRequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Demonstrated proficiency in addition and subtraction, operation of a calculator/adding machine and utilizing a point of sale system, is preferredPrior cashiering experience is desiredThe ability to effectively communicate in EnglishBenefitsFree meal on shiftTraining & DevelopmentFree ParkingPay Rate- $16.00/hour
