At FCS, we do require individuals to be reliable, dedicated and take pride in themselves and what they do.Job DetailsFCS Security is looking for qualified, unarmed candidates!We offer: $15.50/HOUR, WEEKLY PAY, HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION BENEFITS, 401(K) and FREE UNIFORMS.Come start a career with FCS Security!Qualification/RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentBe at least 21 years of ageHave a valid "D" security license with 2 years experienceHave a valid driver's licenseMust have clean criminal background/ and pass drug testAble to work up to 12 hours shiftsPreferred Skills And ExperienceAttention to detailAble to assess and evaluate situations effectivelyAble to move over 25 lbs.Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time as well as ability to ascend and descend stairsReliable transportationAble to answer phones and/or operate a radioAble to write reports using Microsoft WordInformed violators of policy and proceduresImpeccable character/integrityAbility to communicate (possess good communication skills) effectively at all timesMust have good interpersonal skills, i.e., he/she must be a people personThe security officer must be customer-friendlyBasic Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesProtect, patrol and secure company assets and spacesConduct of routine foot patrols in and around buildingInteract with patients, visitors, staff, and publicSound alarm or place necessary calls to the appropriate authorities (police or fire service) in case of any emergencyControl and supervise the entrance of both individuals and vehicles in the office areaEvaluate problems related to the security of property and take appropriate preventative and protective actionsInvestigate and handle disturbances and, as needed, obtain police and law enforcement assistanceComplete daily activity reports, Incident reports, ad other mandated reports per the job assignment and post ordersOther duties assigned as per the standard operating proceduresThis position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and some liftingFirst Coast Security has had the privilege of partnering with customers in the residential, commercial, and government sectors around the country for more than 20 years.
