Swim Instructor
Position SummaryAs an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will help both adults and children improve their swimming. You will teach life skills to our youngest members and evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level. You will help to maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstructs swimming lessons and Aquatics eventsResponds to member questions, comments, and concernsProvides a safe, clean and organized pool areaPromotes and sells all Aquatics programs and servicesMinimum Required QualificationsEducation:* Working towards a High School Diploma or GEDYears of Experience:Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hireAbility to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of timeAbility to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and servicesAbility to swim 25 yards/meters without stoppingAbility to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbsLicenses / Certifications / Registrations:* StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first).
