Based in the Midlands in the United Kingdom, the practice delivers high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services locally and virtually to clients worldwide. The team focuses on a comprehensive, holistic, and individually tailored approach to care, combining hands-on manual therapy with evidence-based therapeutic exercise prescription. Services include musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, sports injury rehabilitation, acupuncture/dry needling, occupational health, medico-legal health, and wellness advice. The clinic manages a wide range of conditions, from spinal pain and postural issues to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and complex tendon and joint problems.Role Description This is a locum , part time/ full time, on-site MSK Physiotherapist role based in leicester/ birmingham/ northampton region. The MSK Physiotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and other evidence-based interventions. Daily responsibilities include delivering individualized treatment plans, providing injury prevention and wellness advice, and educating patients on posture, ergonomics, and self-management strategies. The role involves close collaboration with the wider clinical team, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to high standards of patient safety and care. The physiotherapist will also support service development, participate in continuous professional development, and may be involved in sports injury rehabilitation and occupational health assessments as needed.Qualifications Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current HCPC registration as a Chartered Physiotherapist (or eligibility to obtain)Clinical experience in musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including management of spinal, peripheral joint, and sports-related conditionsProficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planningKnowledge or experience in adjunct therapies such as sports massage, acupuncture/dry needling, taping, and Pilates-based rehabilitation is an advantageStrong patient-centered communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-management strategies clearly and sensitivelyAbility to work autonomously within a clinical setting while collaborating effectively with colleagues and referrersCompetence in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using digital systems for record-keepingCommitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and maintaining relevant professional membershipsExperience in occupational health, medico-legal reporting, or sports injury clinics is desirable but not essentialFlexibility to work part time on-site in Nelson, with a professional, inclusive, and respectful approach to all patients and team members
