Nurse Technician
The Nurse Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). In this role, you will support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), assist with dressing changes, and perform treatments and procedures within the scope of your nursing program training and Washington State regulations.
You will play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for residents while delivering high-quality care.
Pay: $29.70/hour + shift differentials
Shift Requirements
Minimum of 4 shifts per month
At least 2 shifts must be on weekends
Participation in a holiday rotation is required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under RN supervision
Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Perform basic treatments and procedures as permitted by training and regulations
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable care environment
Collaborate with the care team to meet resident needs
Duties and responsibilities may be adjusted at the discretion of the Director of Nursing Services or designee.
Qualifications
Education
Currently enrolled in an approved nursing program or recent graduate (see requirements below)
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Physical ability to perform patient care tasks, including manual dexterity
Licensure / Eligibility (WA State Requirements)
Must meet Washington State Nursing Technician requirements, including:
Currently enrolled and in good standing in a commission-approved nursing program or
Graduated within the past 30 days, or within 60 days with approved extension
Must be registered as a Nursing Technician in Washington State
Experience
Previous experience providing direct patient care preferred
Certifications
Current CPR certification required
