Smith!We are Responsive We have Integrity We are Dynamic We exhibit ExcellenceSeeking a skilled Journeyman Tool & Diemaker in the position of a Calibration Technician to support production and quality operations through calibration, inspection, and fabrication of gauges, fixtures, and measuring equipment. This role requires experience using precision measurement tools and calibration systems, maintaining accurate electronic and paper records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with blueprint specifications and quality standards.Requirements & SkillsJourneyman Tool & Diemaker card, or proof of completion of Tool & Diemaker apprenticeship, or 8+ years' experience in the Tool & Diemaker trade that can be validated with prior employers via notarized letter.Must be proficient in the basic use of computers and business software programs, such as MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint), and Gauge Track. Must have good communication skills to test, certify and train.Must have previous experience in various types of manufacturing measurement devicesMust have experience with written and system record keeping skillsPrimary DutiesCheck all gauges, fixtures and measuring equipment to blueprint dimensions or applicable specifications.
