Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Distribution Branch Manager to lead our branch operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily branch activities, manage a dynamic team, and ensure the seamless distribution of HVACR parts and equipment. Your mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for the industry will drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and growth within your branch.
Duties
Lead and motivate the branch team to achieve sales goals, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service standards.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment of HVACR parts, plumbing supplies, refrigeration components, and related equipment.
Manage daily operations including order processing, shipping logistics, receiving procedures, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability.
Implement training programs for staff on technical topics such as schematics reading, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration, plumbing codes, appliance repair techniques, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Monitor branch performance metrics; analyze sales data and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction-related fields or field service roles within HVAC or refrigeration industries.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, boiler systems, welding, or property maintenance.
Familiarity with schematics interpretation, HVAC design concepts, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing systems, and electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
Prior experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment; leadership skills that inspire collaboration and accountability.
Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), appliance repair techniques, air conditioning systems, and mechanical troubleshooting methods.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles as needed.
Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to train staff on technical procedures such as equipment repair or maintenance tasks. Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,500.00 per year
