ResponsibilitiesCreate, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for milling and machining centers.Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to develop machining programs.Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for machining operations.Generate CNC programs using CAM software or machine-specific programming systems.Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production personnel during job setup and production.Troubleshoot CNC programs and machining issues to improve efficiency and quality.Optimize machining strategies and reduce cycle times.Verify CNC programs through test runs and production validation.Document machining processes and maintain CNC program files.Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.Ensure compliance with quality standards and shop safety procedures.Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy.QualificationsStrong CNC programming experience for milling and machining centers.Proficiency in machining processes, machine setup, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.Experience with G-code, CAM software, and CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Haas, or similar.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Experience in precision manufacturing or CNC machining environments.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with machinists, engineers, and production teams.High school diploma or equivalent required.Technical certificate or associate degree in machining, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred.Familiarity with measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection techniques.Knowledge of shop safety practices.BenefitsProfessional Growth OpportunitiesPrecision Manufacturing EnvironmentCollaborative Team EnvironmentContinuous Improvement Culture
