As the Accounting Manager, you will guide a team of accounting professionals as you continuously drive greater efficiencies and lower costs. You will coordinate with company partners to handle the accumulation, recording, accuracy and control of accounting transactions and assist in the resolution of accounting issues!
Responsibilities and Expectations
Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for team members
Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements, standards, policies, procedures and processes
Coordinates efforts to ensure adequate financial accounting controls and integrity of our financial records
Collaborates with others to establish and maintain accounting policies, standards and processes in compliance with GAAP and accounting regulations
Works with company partners to develop and handle financial analysis and reporting
Leads sophisticated projects
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree and minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted accounting experience
Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Additional Responsibilities
Manages the preparation and reporting of consolidated and subsidiary financial statements
Manages combined quarterly SEC filings (10-K and 10-Q), including drafting of management’s discussion and analysis
Analysis and presentation of quarterly results to senior management
Drives efforts to continuously improve processes and leverage technology
Additional Requirements
Extensive public company financial reporting experience
Experience leading a team
Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC requirements
Preferred experience with Oracle FCCS and Workiva Wdesk
Other Requirements
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
Previous experience leading or supervising a team
