Job DescriptionUse Autodesk Inventor to create comprehensive 3D models of sheet metal products.Create shop drawings of those models for the factory workers to use and reference if there are any questions. Send construction drawings and installation instructions to third-party agencies such as UL, Miami-Dade, and the TX Department of Insurance. Documenting new productsUse Autodesk AutoCAD to create 2D drawings of products.These drawings include dimensioned views as well as cut-a-way views and installation guides with detailed screw patterns of each product with material properties and various tolerances. Be a company liaison with UL when they perform their quarterly inspections.
