Your responsibilities will include:Perform patient triage and obtain accurate medical historiesAssist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, and surgical proceduresInduce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesiaPerform dental cleanings, radiographs, and oral chartingCollect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology)Place IV catheters and administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribedTake and develop diagnostic radiographsMonitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing careEducate clients on treatment plans, medications, nutrition, and preventative careMaintain accurate and thorough medical recordsEnsure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and maintain a clean clinical environmentAssist with inventory management and stocking of medical suppliesFollow all state regulations, hospital protocols, and safety standardsIf you thrive in a fast-paced environment surrounded by wagging tails, purring patients, and a supportive team, you’ll fit right in🐶 Who We're Looking ForCompletion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)Successful completion of the VTNE and current Michigan LVT licenseGenuine passion for patient care and client educationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProfessional demeanor with a team-first attitudePrior experience in the veterinary field✨ What We OfferA supportive, team-oriented work cultureCompetitive pay and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for continued education and career growthA fun, compassionate team deeply rooted in the Kalamazoo communityReady to Make a Difference in Kalamazoo?We’d love to meet you!
