Electrical Technician

Located in Rifle, Colorado, this organization is the second largest producer of sodium bicarbonate in North America. Their product is used domestically and worldwide in the Food and Baking, Personal Care and Pharmaceutical, Animal Nutrition and Agriculture, Pool and Water Treatment, and Industrial markets. Their operation uses an efficient and environmentally-friendly solution mining process to recover pure, naturally-occurring sodium bicarbonate from the largest known nahcolite deposit in the world. They are currently looking for Electrical Technician in their Rifle, CO location.The person in this role is responsible for installing, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing electrical equipment in a 3-phase, 480V industrial plant while ensuring safe and reliable operation of all systems. This includes using hand tools and test equipment-such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters-to troubleshoot issues and verify performance in accordance with established procedures. The position requires the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, trace circuits, and evaluate equipment during operation to identify problems such as overheating, vibration, leaks, or malfunctioning components. Responsibilities also include calibrating timers and thermostats, adjusting contact points, and replacing worn or defective parts like motors, pumps, bearings, wiring, heating elements, and switches. Strong experience with controls and relay logic is essential, along with the ability to understand PLC logic, troubleshoot ladder-logic programs, and work with pneumatic devices such as solenoids, cylinders, and control systems. The role also involves researching parts, reviewing manufacturer specifications, providing accurate repair estimates, and communicating repair needs clearly to management. Maintaining professionalism and working collaboratively with technicians and supervisors are key to supporting safe, efficient plant operations.Looking for Strong Military Talent with Electro-Mechanical skillset, wide pay range for experience levels. Compensation 35-42/hr plus Overtime, Benefits and 401k. Schedule is day shift but 10 hour days rotating. Work roughly every other weekend. They also have Quarterly Performance Bonus around 5-10%!
